This environmentally-friendly, 4-star hotel in Schwerin is set in a historic building on the banks of Lake Ziegelsee with its own boat jetty. It features free WiFi and a restaurant serving organic specialities.

A 15-minute walk from Schwerin’s Old Town, the Hotel Speicher occupies a converted grain warehouse dating back to 1939. It offers rooms with a work desk, TV and private bathroom.

The staff at the Hotel Speicher prepare a breakfast buffet each morning and guests can enjoy a free coffee to go. The restaurant with lakeside terrace serves cuisine from the Mecklenburg region in the evening.

The Speicher's spa area features a sauna, sanarium and fitness room(currently under construction). The hotel also has direct access to the lake, as well as bikes and an electric car for guests to rent to better explore the surrounding countryside.

The Hotel Speicher takes part in a carbon neutrality programme, by planting trees in Panama to balance their yearly carbon dioxide use.
